Posted on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 9:44 PMThe 2009 MATE international ROV competition is being held at Mass Maritime Academy June 24-26. They are in need of support divers to help with the competition, and this is a wonderful opportunity to see the future of underwater exploration flexing their mental muscles with these prototype ROVs!
Divers are needed for the following days and times (Times include arriving for briefings to when you finish up in the water):
6/24 1:30-5:30pm 2 divers (could be on snorkel since we’ll be in the shallow end and this is practice time)
6/25 8am-12:30pm 6 divers (one per mission station)
6/25 12:00-5:30pm 6 divers (one per mission station)
6/26 8am-1pm (a little later since you’d help us pull out the submarines) 6 divers (one per mission station)
