Great Annual Fish Count Survey

There will be an optional survey on several dives throughout the year. NO EXPERIENCE necessary for fish surveys. At any of these dives, there will be a brief commando style crash course at the site, for anyone who missed the fish/invertebrate identification seminars. There will also be a land-based invertrbrate (crabs, clams, perriwinkles, etc) count for non-divers. Email the dive leader to find out if a particular dive is included!

For more information, see the REEF Website. Each year, the dive club hosts a free fish ID seminar at one of the summer general meetings. Watch the calendar for scheduling. In the summer, the NEADC hosts a Great Annual Fish Count which is a yearly event that encourages divers all over the world to participate in a fishcount. Go to the GAFC page to learn more
