About our Club

Who We Are

A Piece of Diving History:
Begun in 1975, the New England Aquarium Dive Club is one of the world's oldest, largest and most active dive clubs. Many of our 300 members are veteran divers; many others are newly certified. We are sport divers, marine scientists, SCUBA instructors, dive medicine experts, professional divers and interested non- or ex-divers. We share the fun of diving, a love of the sea, a concern for diving safety, and a desire to learn more about the aquatic realm and to share that knowledge with others.

You Could Win a Dive in the Giant Ocean Tank, or other aquarium experience:
At each General Meeting (held the third Wednesday of every month at the Aquarium), a membership card drawing selects one member to dive in the GOT. Join at the General Meeting, and you'll receive a temporary card right there. You'll be eligible to win on your very first night as an NEADC member! For more info, see the page devoted to GOT Diving
