We Dive
The NEADC organizes shore and boat dives including wreck dives, tropical fish and tide pool collections, lobstering and photo dives throughout the Northeast. We do Shark Cage Dives in Rhode Island, Seal Dives to the Isles of Shoals and Acadia National Park in Maine, and treks to Les Escoumins, Quebec, Canada.

'New members' dives help new divers or divers new to the area. You can meet other divers and see new dive spots. To dive with us, you should hold a valid dive certification and be at least 18 years of age (or be accompanied by a diving guardian over 21 years of age).

We Meet
At 6:30PM on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, we meet at the New England Aquarium, Central Wharf, Boston. Visitors are welcome. We have speakers on topics that interest the dive community. Members show underwater videos and slides, trade dive tips and hear the latest diving news. At each monthly meeting there's a unique raffle limited to NEADC members: two members win a dive in the Giant Ocean Tank, the largest exhibit in the New England Aquarium. Afterward, we gather for dinner at a nearby restaurant.

We Exchange Information
Our monthly newsletter features twelve pages of articles and tips on diving and safety, local and exotic dive site reviews, news, club information, environmental news and a calendar of upcoming dives and events. We maintain a worldwide dive travel database. Members access the database for information on exotic dive locales.

We Make a Difference
The Club joins forces with other dive clubs to organize Seamark, that benefits the Vision Clinic at the Cotting School for physically challenged children. We also co-sponsor Catch the Wave, a dive-themed party that benefits a different dive-related charity each year.

The NEADC promotes a clean, safe, and accessible diving environment. We do annual clean-ups at Misery Island, Old Garden Beach, Ipswich River and the Charles River Esplanade. We also participate in the Great American Fish Count conducting underwater animal censuses throughout New England. The NEADC also supports the Divers Alert Network.

We Have Fun
Many activities besides diving offer members and guests opportunities to make friends and relax. We have special behind the scenes tours and Members Night's at New England Aquarium. We host an annual spring whale watch, a summer picnic and winter ski trips. We organize visits to other aquariums and museums, host slide shows and house parties, and throw an annual holiday bash. Whatever your interests, you'll find kindred spirits among us.
