Aqualung Surface Signal (S.O.S.) RECALL Aqualung is recalling certain Surface Observation Signal (S.O.S.) sold since Sept 2002 that may have a faulty component. The component is known as an "elbow," and is used to transfer air from the BC to the safety tube. If you have a unit with such a gate mark, we ask that you stop using the product. Detach it from the BC and return it to your nearest Aqua Lung Dealer. You may find your nearest Aqua Lung Dealer by using the dealer locator at www.aqualung.com. If you've been driving on the highway recently, you might have seen what looks like a submarine on a flatbed. It is the Sea Cliff, a deep sea submersible that was retired by the US Navy in 98 and sent to WHOI. It is being transported to Portsmouth for shipping to Puget Sound and eventually to the Navy Undersea Warfare Museum at Keyport, WA. ![]() It's Halloween again, and time for carving pumpkins...underwater! On October 28th we will be joining PG dive at Hathaway's Pond on the cape to carve pumpkins underwater. There has been a change to the lobster fishing regulations for Cape Cod and Southern New England. The v-notch possession standard that has been in effect since 2006 in Area 2 (1/8β indentation w/ or w/out setal hairs) is now extended to Area 3 and the other lobster areas of southern New England (Areas 4-6).
