What kind of raffle prizes are there?
We have raised over $10,000 worth of prizes in the past, ranging from dive vacations to masks and regulartors.

How Does it work?
Simply fill out a survey for the fish you are seeing, and turn the forms in at Stage Fort Park before 2:30PM

When is the raffle Drawing?
The drawing will be held at 3:00PM

How much does it cost?
Stage fort park charges $10.00 for parking, and the NEADC is asking for an optional $5 donation for food.

On July 19, 2008, The New England Aquarium Dive Club and The Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF) hosted the 7th annual Northeast Great Annual Fish Count (GAFC) event. The celebration centered at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, Massachusetts.  GAFC dives are planned at seven shore locations around Cape Ann, along with dives at Nubble Light, York, ME.  There will be a picnic, free raffles and door prizes.  Every survey form submitted after each dive will count as an entry into the raffles for each diver. 


Grand prizes included:

  • Dive trip for 1 to Bonaire - Includes 7 day stay, dive and drive package for 1 at Golden Reef Inn. (Value $599.00)
  • Olympus 790SW 7.1 megapixel camera and waterproof housing, (value $548.00)
  • Uwatec Xtender dive computer, value ($600.00)
  • Scubapro Everflex 5mm Steamer wetsuit, size L, value ($371.00)
  • Scubapro Barrier 3mm Wetsuit, value ($277.00)
  • Sherwood Brut Regulator
  • Aqualung Titan Regulator
  • New England Aquarium Giant Ocean Tank Dive, value ($2500.00)

Olympus set up demos with 12-15 cameras systems of every variety and a limited number of strobes at Lane's Cove.
