Hello NEADC Members, this General meeting this Wednesday, March 21st will be a little different. We will be holding the meeting in conjuntion with the Aquarium's Lowell Lecture speaker: Brian Skerry. This means that the meeting will start out with the guest speaker at 7:00, and have club business afterwards. Also the aquarium has asked everyone who plans to attend to preregister so that they have an accurate seat count. To accomodate the expected turnout, the lecture will be held in the CAFÉ at the New England Aquarium main building. Go to the Lowell Lecture webpage to register, Brian's talk is about halfway down the page.
Here's a little more info about Brian Skerry:
Come hear about Brian's recent adventures shooting for the March and April 2007 issues of National Geographic. He will be talking about the shark of the Bahamas and his Marine Fisheries articles. If you attended the Evening Film event at Sea Rover you got a preview of his amazing photography-photos that truly are worth more than a thousand words.
Raffle drawings, merchendise sale, and all other NEADC business will be held after the meeting.
